It all started about 3 years ago up in Scotland, while driving by a small country garage I noticed a MGB GT for sale, it was a 1974 rubber bumper model. But what the hell the price was right so I bought it. It was the same colour as the one I once owned back in my youth, a sort of green-yellow called Citroen. I ran the car all summer and when winter came off the road it went for a little restoration work. Conversion to chrome bumper, lowered to chrome bumper ride height, conversion to unleaded, 2 new doors, new interior that is carpets and leather seats, and last but not least a full respray. With the MG out of the garage for the summer I was itching to get going at another project, so after much thought I decided to build a Kit car. It's taken 18 months but well worth it, go to the photo's page to see what you think of it. Also watch this space as another project could be starting soon. |
