How a strong virus is spread through internet (ways)....
1)Through file attachment (especially someone say something nice probably inviting the party to explore this file).
2)Free file downloads. (The Sys operator will put up mass of new files (probably with one or two with virus embedded in the software and let users online to download. When these files are new, the Sys operator will say that these files have not been tested and ask user to take their risk to download it).
3)The third type of virus distribution is of course the online installation of software provided and verify + signed by the company to be safe. These online installation are mostly provided by Java.com or by microvision (company that produce flash etc). What the software does is that when these online download screen appear on the screen(mentioning the software is declared safe to download, the virus embedded will be copied to temp internet directory in windows. Once you click yes to install, the virus and the software will eventually be copied over the windows and installed it. (Virus will be copied together with the software).
4)The fourth type of virus distribution is often found in the files behind the web site. What I can elaborate about this is that this virus could be found in your computer's temp internet directories when you open a web site. I practically do not know what this could do to your system but there are probably some web site that contain virus as you surf them, beware.
There could be a serious threat(1) for computers getting virus ('cyberwar') as I have mentioned in the newsgroup google.com (groups) not only to sell Epson ink cartridges but also thanking internet patches for making the software improves etc and one more that I've not mentioned is a big thank you to those that give undelivered mail that comes in huge files which choke the web mails. Flyers and brochures were also mentioned as they get everyone address from the google groups newsgroup and post to individual email address. My new mailbox is very empty from the first day I join the web mail but till I post message to google groups, internet patches, flyers, undelivered message (high byte file) came in to choke the web mail to the maximum without a space for other important mails to come in.
