CAST: Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Gabrielle Union, Joe Pantoliano, Peter Stormare, Jordi Molla, Theresa Randle, Michael Shannon, Jon Seda, Yul Vazquez, Jason Manuel Olazabal, Otto Sanchez DIRECTOR: Michael Bay STUDIO: Jerry Bruckheimer Films RATING: R RELEASE DATE: July 2003 REVIEW BY CATHERINE KRUMMEY As the latest movie "rerun" this year, Bad Boys II is rarely funny and has too dragged-out of a plot to make viewers have any desire to see another bad rerun. Like February's Daredevil, the only good thing from this movie is the music. For Daredevil, it was Evanescence's hypnotic "Bring Me to Life," and for Boys, it's P. Diddy and the Bad Boy family's soundtrack to the sequel, which stars original cast members Smith, Lawrence and Pantoliano, in addition to new faces, including Bring It On's Union. If you need "bullets," f--- every-other word and a very dragged-out plot line, this is the movie for you. |
