The LEAGUE of
EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN
Blue Hitters (2005 to present). Coach Rickey McKinney. Coach McKinney was hired by the failing franchise at the start of the 2005 season. Under Coach McKinney, the franchise has not finished higher than 7th in the league and is looking to get into its first playoff series. However, under the prior coach, 8th place was the best. What the franchise considered building for the future the last couple of years to build a strong roster, Coach McKinney is determined to flash into the playoffs and startle those around him in 2008. this team was formerly known as "Deez Nutz"
Buckeye Bruisers (2004 to present). Coach Erin Day. The Bruisers are one of the original ten that started this league. Starting a franchise best 10-5 season and 4th place finish, the Bruisers have fallen in a slump the following seasons. However, with a strong series of victories in 2007 to finish 5th and win the consolation bracket, Coach Day says he has what he needs to get the once ailing Bruisers to competitive and victorious Keeperbowl Championshiop status in 2008. Lookout everyone, The Bruisers are on fire and want to continue that winning streak.
Mass Destruction (2004 to present). Coach Chris Harmon. Another original 10. Coach Harmon actually is the brain behind this league. He was commissioner for the first 4 years and is the starter of this league. Since their beginning, this franchise has dominated this league and posted several records. Being the Dynasty franchise for the first 4 season. Lookout everyone, the league is still feeling the effects of fallout after this team leaves the field. This franchise has yet to finish worst than 3rd place, made Keeperbowl appearances 3 of the 4 years, and won Keeperbowl II in 2005. Coach Harmon is also the first and only coach to reach 50 total victories, a milestone in itself. More than anything, this team has only lost 18 games in 4 years. Sounds like destruction dynasty will reign for years to come.
Orange Crush (2004 to present). Coach Dan Sheppard. Original 10 team.Coach Sheppard took over commissioner duties form Coach Harmon in 2008 season. Coach Sheppard is also the web master of this cheaply designed website, lol. With high expectations, the franchise hired Coach Sheppard to win championships. After a dissappointing 1st season at 8-7 in which the Crush were predicted for Keeperbowl I, the franchise has been in the middle with a best finish 3rd and worst finish 7th. 8-7 is the best record posted which was the team record 3 of 4 years. With some rebuilding and new contracts and the addition of Tony Romo, look for the Crush to widdle their way to the top in 2008.
Pain Sindicate (2008 to present). Coach Mark Finney. Coach Finney has taken over the franchise almost nicknamed now as the "franchise no one wants". He is the third coach to coach this ailing franchise. After a disappointing start to the franchise, have the owners found their man. Coach Finney has a lot to prove in this league. Posting it's first winning season in 2007 at 8-7, Coach Finney is going to have to do a lot of work with this team and make it Keepr Bowl ready. With high hopes and expectations, Coach Finney will have to prove his stand and lay pain upon his opponents. One might think Al Davis owned this franchise going through coaches like the Oakland Raiders. Good Luck Coach Finney. Prove to all you are the coach. Formerly known as Halls Hounds.
Red Devils (2004 to present). Coach Daron Keesee. Original 10 team. Year one looked promising and the franchise was proud they hired a stout coach in Coach Keesee. Finishing a solid 3rd in 2004. However there was a two year slup with 8th and 9th place finishes. Then after Coach Keesee told the world he was a conteder in 2007 after rebuilding a young team that was run over the rpior two seasons, the Red Devils made history by snatching their first Keeper Bowl Title winning Keepr Bowl IV in 2007. Being the defender of the title in 2008, does Coach Keesee and the Red Devils have what it takes for a repeat, or has the salary cap and contracts plague struck. We will only see. With the strong running of Adrian Peterson, I am sure we will see the Devils near the top if not at the top in 2008.
Skull Stompers (2004 to present). Coach Robbie Gamble. Original 10 team. The franchise that made history by winning Keeperbowl I. The Stompers led by Coach Gamble set the standard and raised the bar for other franchises in the league. However, the franchise has struggled getting the trophy back, predicted to be a strong contender in the next several seasons with QB Peyton Manning and the trio from Indianapolis, the franchise only returned in Keeperbowl III in 2006 and lost to Tidal Wave. Could the Stompers make a comeback and rightfully show the world they were the first and only dynasty, we ill only see how 2008 will lead us.
