Microsoft ActiveX Interactive Music Control

If you have trouble with this page, I am sorry. It requires a machine that understands Visual Basic and ActiveX (that sorta limits the enjoyment of this page to a MicroSoft based platform, i.e. 80% of the CPUs in the world).

I hope that you enjoy these compositions. This music is produced on the fly via Microsoft's ActiveX music component. It is not a recorded file, but rather a program making the music according to parameters I've set.

You sorta got to have Internet Explorer to enjoy this. Also you have to let the component install itself on your machine. There is a wave table synthesizer to be installed as well. If you've got the disk space, the 16-bit version is suggested. Be patient , please. Once you've been here, the rest of the hymnal should make music too. This may take a little while the first time you do it. The ActiveX control must be fetched from MicroSoft and plugged in to Internet Explorer. The personality and style of each song must also be downloaded from Microsoft (My host, Geocities, doesn't allow the STY and PER file types on their server). To find about more about the ActiveX music control try... http://www.microsoft.com/music/Default.htm

***If you get an error when you load this page you probably do not have a machine which recognizes VisualBasic Script. You are probably not using Internet Explorer. I am sorry that this won't work for you. Hopefully you can enjoy the MIDI or the WAV files.***
