Have Sword Beam Attack In Four Swords
To unlock the Sword Beam attack in Four Swords, simply get the Master Sword in A Link to the Past. When you save and return to the Game Select screen, you'll receive a message saying that you can now use the Sword Beam in Four Swords. You can only use the attack when your Heart Meter is full, though.

Unlock Riddle Quest
To open the Riddle Quest, win at least ten medals in Four Swords. To begin the Riddle Quest, go inside the Lumberjacks' house near the entrance to Death Mountain and talk to the person inside.

Get Hurricane Blade
To win the Hurricane Blade, successfully complete the Riddle Quest.

Free Medicine of Magic
To get a free bottle of the Medicine of Magic, go to either Waterfall of Wishing (Light or Dark World) and throw an empty bottle into the pond. The fairy inside the pond will fill your bottle with the magic medicine.

Open Four Swords Dungeon
To open the Four Swords Palace in A Link to the Past, you must have beaten both Four Swords and A Link to the Past at least once. When both games are completed, talk to the creature guarding the entrance to the palace to begin.

Alternate Ending
To see the alternate ending to A Link to the Past, successfully complete the Four Swords Palace.
