Sigur Ros @ Park West, Chicago (6 May 2001)

Jonsi from my position. This photo was taken quite discreetly while the camera was sitting in my lap -- explaining the weird angle. He is between the monitors, and that glowing orb is a large candle which was one of many lining the front of the stage.

Here's Jonsi and Steindor Andersen, the Icelandic folk singer. Around this time, Jonsi began singing, not into the microphone but just for him, Steindor, and the front row (me, boo ya).

Steindor again, solo. He appeared very nervous, as he did not stray from this position. I hope he knows everyone thought he was tops, especially our little front row group. Did I mention I was in the front row?
Another one of Jonsi, framed by the monitors.
Jonsi adjusts his guitar while Georg's head hovers in the background.
Jonsi in a different light.
Kjartan plays a small pan flute at the end of Haffsol. Also, notice the case of "Iceland Spring" bottled water to the right.

Now I'm just sorry to Orri, because he's the only one not represented here. He did some mad drumming, though. Probably too mad to be caught on film.
