| A Word or Two About the Spelling Program... |
| The text used to facillitate the program is Rebecca Sitton's Spelling Sourcebook for Third Grade Teachers (Other editions are available for levels one through eight). Your child's weekly spelling list will be located here each week. I've also posted a link to the publisher's web site below, so you can become a little more familiar with the philosophy of the program. Their motto is "Every child a speller!" The program is designed so that children become better spellers in their writing every day-- not just on weekly tests. |
