The X-men and Fantastic Four have been around for a long time (since 1961 in fact). They have been adored and admired for years. Which one, though, has what it takes to stand above the rest? Which group is the best super team of all?

Not only do the X-men have more members and allies worldwide, but they also have a certain character that sets them apart.

  • They were born with their powers, and have had more time to adjust to them and learn how to use them. The Fantastic Four got their powers from space as adults. They may not fully understand their abilities and are probably unstable.
  • The X-men are constantly facing adversity. The people they spend their lives protecting always fear and hate them, yet they continue to save their lives on a daily basis. The Fantastic Four are famous superheroes that are seen as such. They have less to overcome.
  • The variety of powers in the X-men allow them to be self sufficient and more effective in battle. The Fantastic Four have limited resources and may have trouble fighting foes that are immune to their powers.
