Dear Parent/Guardian,

The Downey School Business Department needs your help.  School funding is not sufficient to cover all the expenses for materials used to teach your child’s computer class. We are asking that a lab fee of $5.00 per student be paid per semester to the school to help defray the costs of purchasing of expendable items used by your child like floppy disks, paper copies, and tear out computer work books.

Please have your child bring to school a check or money order for $5.00 made out to Downey High School Business Department. Have your child turn it into the student treasurer’s office or to the class teacher at least two weeks before end of the semester.
