In this project, students use data from the Internet to investigate power generation using alternative sources rather than the burning of non-renewable fossil fuels. I plan to implement this project with my 11th grade College Prep Physics class after students learn about traditional power generation.
Alternative sources on energy generation to be investigated in this project include:
1. Solar
2. Wind
3. Hydroelectric
4. Geothermal
5. Biomass
6. Nuclear
