Hi! My name is Jan Teeters. I live in Greenville, Texas. I have two daughers. Crystal is a first grade teacher at Carver. Crystal is excited to start another year at Carver. Nicole is a freshman at Paris Junior College where she is working toward earning her nursing degree!
I attended Greenville schools and graduated from Greenville High School in 1977.
I have taught in the Greenville Independent School District for the past 19 years. I have taught kindergarten, first, and now fourth grade. I have always considered teaching to be my calling in life.
I have received both the Altrusia and Chamber of Commerce Teaching Awards. I was honored with the prestigious "Key Communicator" award which is presented by our district. 2001 marked one of the highlights in my career when I coached the Greenville High School Destingation Imagination Structure Team. Our team took First Place in Global Competition.
We have numerous pets. Three dogs; Paco, Mr. Wiggles, and Sandy. We also have one cat named Tye. My love of animals and nature are evident if you visit our science lab!
My favorite things include visiting new places with my family and my friend Charles, reading, fishing, working on the computer, and shopping for antiques. |
