Science Lab Rules
We will go to science lab once a week in our class.  On science lab days the students need to follow the following rules..........

1.  Wear closed toes shoes. 
2.  Girls with long hair should wear it back in a pony tail.
3.  No long necklaces or bracelets that could get caught in the equipment.

While in the lab, the students should follow the lab rules....
1.   Go to your assigned station.  Do not touch anything until you have directions from the lab instructor.
2.   Read the entire lab sheet before beginning to work.
3.   Never eat or drink in the lab unless instructed by your teacher.
4.   NO running or horseplay in the lab.
5.   Use the equipment as it is intended for use.
6.   Treat the lab pets with respect.  No tapping on the glass!
7.   Notify teacher IMMEDIATELY of any injury sustained while in the lab.
8.   If you make a mess, clean it up.
9.   Return all supplies to their proper place.
10.  Never directly smell a substance.  Use the wafting method.
11.  Never mix liquids or try to return unused liquids to the original container.
12.  Ask Mrs. Teeters BEFORE feeding any of the lab pets.

Failure to comply with the lab rules can result in an injury.  If you fail to follow the rules it could cost you lab time.  Please be safe and make the lab a fun learning envirnment for all!
