Dear Sixth Grade Parents:
Sligo Adventist School�s annual sixth grade outdoor school trip is rapidly approaching.
The trip is scheduled for Tuesday, September 19th � Thursday, September 21st.
The students will need to be at school by 8:45 a.m. The bus will be leaving Sligo at 9:00 a.m.,
Tuesday morning and will be returning to Sligo 3:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.
Tuesday is on the school calendar as Parent Teacher Conferences and the rest
of the school doesn�t have school on that day. Due to our trip, 6th Grade will have FRIDAY off, September 22nd and the 6th grade parent teacher conferences will be held on that day.
(A sign up sheet will go home one week prior to the conference.)
Please note the attached list of items your child will need to bring on this outdoor school trip.
In addition to the list of items, there is a �Student/Parent Guide� that I need you to review carefully. The last page of the guide is a form that needs to be filled out prior to your child going on the trip. Please fill the form out and bring back to Ms. Barone by Monday, September 11th.
This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to bond with his/her classmates and teachers.
The sixth graders and myself are very excited about going. In case of an emergency,
