AIDS WALK DETROIT 2002
This September, members of C.A.R.E. walked five kilometers in downtown Royal Oak. They collected donations that totalled $1,051.36. The money will be used for AIDs victims throughout the Detriot area. Great Job!
HOMECOMING 2002
For the 2002 Homecoming Spirit Week, CARE members created a dragon float.  The float consisted of a colored dragon wrapped around a community sword.  We also had fun working with SADD members.  Congrats to SADD for winning the top float award!

MAKE-A-DIFFERENCE DAY
This was the first year CARE members planned a Make-A-Difference Day event.  Students gathered after school and cleaned up the school grounds of trash.  We feel we made a difference in the way our school presents itself to the community.  Then we went to McDonald's for a self-serving high-five!
MUSTARD SEED
Every year Mrs. Collins holds a collection drive for the Mustard Seed Domestic Abuse Shelter.  CARE members brought in new toiletries as donations.

End of the year picnic
As usual, it was filled with high-flying water balloons, food, and laughter!  Best of luck to all of our seniors!
