1. Sussurrando – Italian – In a whispering, murmurous tone

2. Svanirando – Italian – Vanishing, becoming fainter and fainter

3. Svegliato – Italian – Lively, animated, brisk

4. Syncopation – Shifting the accent from strong beats to weak beats (or between the beats)

5. Tabor – A small drum accompanying a folk singer, and tapped with only one hand

6. Tacet – Latin – meaning “it is silent”. Used to mark a movement in which a particular musician does not play or sing

7. Tafelmusik – German – meaning “table music”.  It is music performed informally at a dinner gathering

8. Tanz – German – a dance

9. Tardamente – Italian – Slowly, lingeringly

10. Tardando – Italian – Retarding

11. Technique – French – All that pertains to the purely mechanical part of vocal performance.  Dexterity, skill, training

12. Tempestoso – Italian – Passionately, impetuously (sudden rash behavior)

13. Tempo – Italian – Rate of speed or movement

14. Tenero – Italian – Tenderly

15. Tenore – Italian – Another way to say tenor
