1. Enunciation - To pronounce consonants and vowels clearly and distinctly.

2. Erklingen - German - To resound

3. Espirando - Italian - Dying away

4. Espressivo - Italian - Expressively

5. Estinguendo - Italian - Dying away, extinguishing

6. Estinto - Italina - barely audible. The extreme of pianissimo

7. Etude - French - A study, technique practice

8. Eurhythmics - A system of musical training in which students are taught to represent complex rhythmic movement with their entire bodies

9. Expression mark - A written direction  (either a sign, word or phrase) for the performance of a piece.

10. Falsetto - The highest vocal register of the male voice

11. Fantasie - German - An improvisational song

12. Farce - A one act opera of ultracomical or burlesque character

13. Fermata- Italian - To hold a note longer than its original value

14. Ferocemente - Italian - Wildly, fiercy, vehemently

15. Finale - Italian - The last movement in a symphony or the closing number of a show.
