| 5-22-02 Joaquin has been sighted in London, England attending the opening night of the play 'West End', starring Matt Damon, Summer Phoenix and Casey Affleck at the Garrick Theatre. A new film project has surfaced that Joaquin will be apart of. The film will be called 'Aurora Island'.The film is set to be released February 21, 2003. This film is in the very early stages of development. There aren't many details yet, but here's what we've been able to track down. Robert Newton has adapted the movie from a short story by Marianne Gingher. The story is about a mother, her daughter, and the mother's best friend who all get involved with a mysterious drifter who happens to come onto the island where they are. The film is being produced by Bonnie Bruckheimer for Bette Midler's All-Girl Productions, and by Michele Berk for Edgebrook Productions. The film is budgeted at $18 million and already has a few big names signed on to star: Kim Basinger, Joaquin Phoenix and Mandy Moore. 5-8-02 Three new desktop images have been added to the Wallpaper 2 & 3 section.
