Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse
This lighthouse, which  sits on the end of a rock breakwater in Rockland, Maine, was built in 1902 to protect the Rockland harbor from damaging waves from the high seas. The lighthouse tower is 25 feet tall. The light was automated in 1965. Prior to then, a lighthouse keeper lived in the lighthouse and manually turned the light off and on each day
