MS 5k Walk/Run
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves.  Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision.  The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another.  Today, new treatments and advances in research are given a new hope to people affected by the disease.  (Courtesy of www.nationalmssociety.org)

With your support, this new hope can become a reality for individuals across the nation!
Central Michigan University's Physical Therapy Student Organization is hosting the 2009 MS 5k Walk/Run on April 18, 2009!   All proceeds will go to the Multiple Sclerosis National Society - Michigan Chapter!
