Join us for the 4th Bi-Annual Munich reunion in Washington, DC. on Oct. 12, 2002 from 3:00 - ???. Deadline for payment is Oct. 1, 2002. Click here to pay. The cost of $40.50 per person, includes munchies from 5:30-7pm, a buffet from 7-9pm, and a t-shirt with artwork by one of our own, Ken "Glut" Susynski. Please be clear that there are two Capitol City Brewing Companies in D.C. Our reunion willl be held at the Downtown brew house across from the Convention Center, not the one near Union Station, as originally planned.
The hotel rates are $109.00 at the Governor's House Hotel. (Telephone 800.821.4367) will only be good until Sept. 1, 2002, and the rooms are on a first come, first served basis, so book early! You will have to call the hotel directly to get these rates. They also offer parking for an additional fee.
The Governor's House Hotel is a short cab ride away or 2 1/2 blocks from the metro stop, Farrugut North - and 1 stop on the red line from Metro Center, which is the stop to get to the downtown Capitol City Brewing Company.
The most convenient airport is Reagan National (DCA); no rental car is needed, just take the metro. BWI is probably the cheapest. It's a little less than an hour away. Options there are to rent a car or take a shuttle to the Amtrak station and pay around $50 (weekend rate) round-trip to Union Station (25 min. ride). You can also fly into Dulles (IAD) and pay around $18 for the bus into DC, then take the metro. The metro is just like the U-Bahn and is very convenient to get around.
