Our Philisophy:
Mused 265 is designed for elementary education, special education, and early childhood majors (that's us!). This class enhances the awarenes of education majors to understand and appreciate music.
Mused 265 is part of the University Core Curriculum. This class allows students to listen to music from various time periods, learn basic children's songs, play a recorder and so much more. Mused 265 gives educatin majors ideas and activites to incorporate into their future classrooms and to use with their students.
We hope to learn more about music and how to incorporate it into our daily routines as teachers. By taking this class we hope to learn methods for teaching music not only for our classroom, but also for our individual students. We also want to learn how to meet each child's individual needs where music is concerned. |
