This is a page about the saga that is the 1988 Mustang LX I have built for my girlfriend.  What is so special about this particular 88 Mustang LX you say?  Well, those questions and others shall be answered below.
First we have pics of the car before.
This is the car 2 days after I bought it.  Origionally, I had purchased the vehicle as a commuter car to keep the miles off of my 1996 Mustang I am building a 450+ hp 308 for.  The 88 started life as an underapprecated 2.3L 4 cyl and was bought by the previous owner with a blown motor.  He took a 1994 v6 and wiring harness out of a rolled over Mustang convertable and swapped it into the 88.  He sold the car to me after his sister (whom he built the car for) had trashed it so badly, it needed the TLC I could provide for it.  I bought her for $2000 dollars and fixed some minor problems with it.  I swapped in a tilt wheel and other minor items and just drove it.  Then, one morning on my way to work, both head gaskets blew.  That started the whole buildup of the car from here on out.

In the blown 94 v6's place resides a 300 mile old 3.8L v6 from a 2000 Mustang.  Factory rated at 190 hp, it sports 24 lb injectors, 1994 headers and a Pro M MAF.  I powdercoated the upper intake red.
