THE SEPARATION OF THE TARES FROM THE WHEAT
At the end of the age, Jesus states that the Son of man sends forth the angels to sever the wicked from the just.

(Mat 13:41 KJV)  The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

(Mat 13:49 KJV)  So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

The angels shall gather OUT OF HIS KINGDOM all that do wickedness.  Notice this doesn't say out of the world but of the kingdom of heaven.  Those that are wicked have received the truth and yet loved their own unrighteousness.  Who are these angels?  In my opinion, they are a group of people chosen by God to be messengers of the Truth of the law, the prophets and the testimony of Jesus.  The scriptures will be opened up for true understanding so that the wheat will recognize it and will understand their position in Babylon (confusion)  with the tares.  The wicked will be revealed for who they are...trangressors of the spiritual law written on their own hearts and minds...sons of perdition.  This understanding will cause the wise to come out of Babylon which leaves it fallen and a habitation of nothing but wicked people (the tares, the goats, the bad fish) and their doctrines.

(Rev 18:2 KJV)  And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

It is said in Daniel that the wise will understand but the wicked will not.

10  Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

The wise disperse knowledge but the wicked do not nor will they understand it when they hear it.

(Prov 15:7 KJV)  The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.

The parable of the virgins also illustrates the division of the wise from the foolish.  The wise kept oil in their lamps.  They lived according to the Spirit and kept the Truth within themselves.

20  There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.
21  He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

The foolish do not follow after righteousness...the foolish virgins do not keep the oil within their lamps....they follow their own unrighteousness and are without excuse.  They deny the Lord who had bought them.  At the marriage, the Lord will deny knowing them:

11  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12  But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
