My name is Mike and I started this web page to share some of my underwater photos with you. I began my diver training in southern California in 1987 with Pacific School of Scuba where i became a NAUI Divmaster. During a dive in 1991 in Truk Lagoon, where i was working as a DM, Jim Church handed me his Nikonos RS and asked me to finish the roll out. That was my first underwater photography experience. Kul!
For me Photography is about perception and light, two things that are in Constance change, Remember "don't fear change".
I have worked on a live-aboard dive boat in Truk Lagoon in Micronesia and in the Bahamas and have been to places as far off as Australia's Ribbon Reefs and Coral Sea, Maui and The Big Island of Hawaii, The Turks and Caicos, The Bahamas, Belize, Cayman, Tobago, The Bay Islands, The Exumas cays, The Berry Islands, La Paz Mexico, The Northeastern Caribbean and most of the southern California Chanel islands. I have been working as a DM on the Dive/Research vessel Dolphin Dream where We do week long trips to the Bahamas to swim with Atlantic spotted Dolphins, Scuba dive the beautiful reefs and do organized shark dives with Tiger, Lemon and reef sharks at "Tiger Beach".
