Hardware | |||||||||||||||
Hardware The hardware is definently one of the coolest things about this kit. Because of the rack and other hardware the only things that touch the ground are the bass drum, rack, bass pedal, and hi-hat. This set is just dying to have a double bass pedal attached. All the free room under the snare is ridiculous. Obviously I have mounted more than is suggested for this rack, but it is safe. I used another clamp to use the hi-hat as a leg for the rack. It works perfectly. Anyways here is a rundown of how things work. The main rack is a Gibralter GRS-350C curved rack system = $280 All 14 clamps are the correct road series clamps = $25X14 = $350 All 8 cymbals are mounted on Pearl CH-88 boom arms = $50X8 =$400 The bass pedal is a Tama Iron Cobra Powerglide = $120 Hi-hat stand is a Tama Iron Cobra Leverglide = $150 RIMS mounts for all toms = $25X3 = $75 Tama Rack Mountable Snare Baskets = $60X2 = $120 One spare cymbal boom arm and clamp are included = $75 - I was going to buy a crash of doom but never got around to it - Not pictured, but included, are four Gibralter rack casters that allow the rack to move on wheels = $20X4 Total cost of hardware if bought brand new from Interstatemusic = $1650 |
