On August 13, 2001 I had weight loss surgery, specifically laparoscopic Gastric Bypass RNY. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself.
While researching Gastric Bypass in the months before my surgery I visited many websites created by people who had traveled this path ahead of me. Their willingness to share their personal stories was an inspiration to me and made me realize I was not alone. They also helped me to make a better informed decision.
I have created this website with the hope that it will be a source of encouragement and information on a personal level for anyone considering this life changing procedure.
