Sunday School Folders
Every child in our class has a 3 prong folder (purchased at Walmart during back to school sales for 5 cents)
filled with notebook paper. Every Sunday we write down a few lines about our lesson ,something new we learned in class that day , or something we found to be very interesting . At the end of the quarter we have a quiz about all the lessons we have had .
Merits
Every Sunday students earn merit points to use in our quarterly points store . They earn merits for memory verses , trivia questions , class participation , class behavior, daily Bible reading and bringing their Bible to class .

Quarterly Points Store
At the end of every quarter we have a points store where students can use the merit points they've earned. The items for the points store are purchased through dollar stores like the Dollar Tree or inexpensive items from Walmart . Oriental Traders is also a good place to purchase items . We also take class donations of games or toys as long as they are in good condition . I then place a point $ amount on each gift . The students can use all their merits or bank them til the next quarter . |
