My finishing kit arrived today April 9th, 2004. I am not quite ready for it yet, but I am excited to get it and see all the parts. Its nice to see some fiberglass and rubber after working with aluminum all this time.
I opened the crate and inventoried the items. Instead of putting them all back in the crate (which would have been impossible to re-pack it the exact same way Vans did, which is also probably the only way all of it would fit back in), I put the items on shelves and organized them by what type of part it is, when I will use it etc..
I kept the empty crate intact as it will make a perfect enclosure for hanging parts to prime.
This page probably won't change for some time, I still have a lot to do on the fuselage and wings yet.
