| Heike in this picture is about 4 mos old and about 20 lbs. She is now full grown and is a little under thirty. When we got her we were told shepard/akita mix, but obviously she is way too small for that. We think she is some kind of basenji mix (she makes all kinds of noises) but don't know what else she might be. She has a double coat that is about 2 inches long at the withers and around her neck and basenji coloring |

My first guess is part Schipperke because of the color and small size and ears, maybe that and basenji or lab. ~katie My guess is terrier and something. maybe besenji. our dog looks a bit like that and they told us she was a black lab mix, but she's about 25 pounds and she's got terrier tenacity and attitude, and some vets have seen terrier in her too. so terrier cross is my guess |

| Simba was rescued by us as a 4 month old pup. He weighed almost 60-70lbs at that age. He was always a big boy with a huge head. The shelter told us he was a rottie/pit mix. But since he's grown, he has filled out and looks like a pit/mastiff mix. He is a big boy, a good 100lbs if not more. This is a very recent picture of him, we took it just the other day. He just turned a year old so he still has a lot of growing to do! scarey! What does everyone think he is? |
| Simba Could be.. . Simba, Wow, he has the same shaped face as Fred! My first instinct at looking at him was pit/golen lab, but with that size of head, I might have to say he could be rott/golden? God only knows, but what a cutie. ..Rebecca.. |

| Max is about 8 weeks old in this picture and about the stature of a Lab ofthat age. The adoption agency said he's a spaniel mix, but it appears he may have some choclate lab in him. He is a tan/fawn color with a darker chocolate/liver color on his back. Anyone there have a take on him? ..Karen.. |
| Max could be... Max - Wow, 8 weeks and look at the size of those paws! He is going to be a big one! Defiently Choc. Lab mixed with love. What a cute puppy! I definately see the spaniel in him, maybe springer, the face looks all springer. he is a cutie! ~katie my wild guess is cocker spaniel, brittany spaniel and chocolate lab. |

| Joe is about 10 1/2months old. We adopted him from the shelter a few weeks ago. He has been there lost of his life so he is still weary around the home, but we have a Lab puppy to keep him company. They get along great!! Joe is part shepherd, part something else. He is about 50lbs now. He has darh brown eyes, a pink tongue with blue/black spots all over it. His ears are black along with his muzzle and around his eyes. His tail is also partially black. His coat is semi-thick with coarse hair, mostly tan/cream underneath. His ears flip over also. They don't stand up straight like a GSDs. I hope I can get some better ideas what he is mixed with. Chow or Shar pei? I dont know of many dogs with blue/black tongues and why his would be spotted allover? Any help would be great! Thanks. ..Stephanie.. |
| Joe could be.. Joe - What a handsome fellow...when i seen that head, I thought Great Dane but he doesn't seem that big to be a great dane, I would say German Shepard mixed with yellow/golden lab? He has the cutest face I would just love to kiss! I'm going to have to second the shepard/dane theory. ~katie |
