Christmas 2006 we went to Wee Jasper Station for 3 weeks. It was not the best time to go with the drought in full force. The sheep were dying in front of our eyes, it made my Mummy cry. Sometimes they fell over and could not get up so my Mummy lifted them. Some of the sheep died. The smell made my Mummy's eyes water but I loooved it.
The area was great for exploring - we walked on the Hume and Hovell walking track, explored caves and lots of pine forests - we went for a drive to Yass - the people there do not like dogs. A few days later we went to Tumut and the butcher gave me a bone - the people were very friendly. |
