While I agree that things may have been taken further than they should have at this stage I can't agree with you about this being a game so it doesn't matter. I know I paraphrased but that seems to be what you are saying.

Little background first - A couple of years back I was in an accident that left me partially disabled and unable to work at my usual job. So I decided to retrain myself and started a university course. Now I am on a small fixed income and because of that I need to supplement that income somehow to make ends meet. My amenities fees for Uni are due and the sale of these keys(which i scrimped and saved all summer, I live in Australia, summer here) was to pay those fees.

So, while it may be just a game to you it was a little more important than that for me. I now cannot pay those fees and will be encumbered by the university until such time as I can pay them.

I would very much like to get ingame with all parties concerned and sort out this matter. If you can arrange that I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for your input Tenchu, appreciate it. Just to clear a few things up however.... We were in contact with Shortie for several days, the result of this was the return of 1 of the 30 sing keyrings stolen. Shortie is claiming his frined had access to his AC account and used that to collect the keyrings without his knowledge. I have no way of knowing if the paypal account used was Shorties or his friends, I can supply the address and name registered on Paypal for the transaction though. If anyone knows where Shortie lives then this will solve one problem.

If Shortie could supply the ingame and real life name of the friend who used his account then this would clear up another problem and we can get the proceedings started for possible fraud charges. I have emailed the Attorney General in his state and am awaiting a reply to see where we can take this matter.

It is definately my business if his friend has commited this fraud against me and should be the business of people who know Shortie. We are often judged by the people we associate with, it is a fact of life, and if Shortie associates with people of this nature then his friends should pull him aside and talk to him about it, or they aren't very good friends imho.

As for not checking with monarch/patron first, well you have a valid point, and I am sorry that this did not happen, but as I stated my hand was forced by Prosonics post on the VN boards about the matter. I sent my initial correspondence to Shorties patron via private message, she chose to make it public as is her right.

Thankyou for your offer of reparation, it was very generous. Ultimately I would like to see the people responsible come good on the items or cash.

From what has been told it was a deliberate fraud....he promised to pay RL cash for items....he took the items....<with your account BTW> and then had the nerve to recall the transactions on these folks...after items were delivered.

I understand to an extent that you may be upset, but...as I've said before, it was your account that this happened on...it's your responsibility to make it right....

I wouldn't have dropped you as fast ...that was up to your patron, I just wanted to hear from you first before anything else was done. But the stories that you are saying, and the screen shots and stories from the others are not matching well.

One way or another .... this has to be made right by the people that were burnt from the deals....you have the power to fix it....do that..

Sell the villa, and sell whatever else you or your friend bought and RETURN the sings.

Well Shortie I'm really sorry you feel that way, but not suprised. From every conversation we had your attitude came across the same as your last post so I guess I shouldn't be suprised.

Oh and heaven forbid you ever suffer any kind of disability and someone treats you the same way you have treated me.

Actually Kholmar, now that I think about it...

Mousey, remember Tiara Misu? She bought an account off of ebay, for $150 or so. Anyhow, the guy recalled the account on her. She got a lawyer, and either got the account back or a full refund.

(I know Mousey's watching this thread.) 

Tiara is a very nice lady, Jenna. I'm sure she could offer you some really good advice on how to get this started and what she did. Hers was resolved very quick too.

    Yes guilty as charged.. I have been watching this thread.  Only because it was my follower and friend. I remember Tira Masu think her brother took over the account once she moved back to the states from Korea. But yes she did indeed get it back.

    As far as Vapors/Shortie ... He claims he will not hang his friend out to dry.. I could never call someone a friend who would do this to me... game or no game... If he pulled this I would give them up cause there is no right in what has been done. As you notice Shortie also *NEVER* says he talked to his *friend* or that he is concerned in the least on this matter. He never even offered to talk to his *friend*. I talked to him like a person explained what went on in hopes of getting some resolution . I failed.  Anyways... 301-693-9255... This is how much respect I have for you.  I tried calling you to discuss this you never answered nor called back. I think you planned all this out in my opinion you saw an opportunity and took it hoping you would get away with it unnoticed.  

     Just my $.02 . I screenshotted 2 of my conversations with Vapors and got him to return 1 keyring.. so little for what was stolen but I tried.

 And whether done by Shortie or his friend, the owner of the account is responsble for the actions of that account. PERIOD. Harcourt uses Gullum only becuase I TRUST him to do so. You should double check where you are placing your trusts Shortie.

 And get your head ut of the clouds shortie, once RL money exchanges hands it is no longer a game, it is a RL business transaction. Game thieves are bad enough, but RL thieves should be criminally charged!

 Many of you may remember I sold the Dark Myst account, and everything on it on Ebay. A transaction that went thru with out a hitch, the second that cheque cleared I handed over the username and password. So AC and Ebay can work in people with the slightest bit of honor are involved.
