(To slap someone's cheek is an act of an insult not an act of deadly egression.
If you slap someone on the right cheek you used the back of your right hand.
It did not say if someone brakes your right rib turn to let him brake another.)

Matthew 26:52 - 54
"Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
(He said put your sword back, not get rid of it or destroy it.)
(They would have lost the fight, Because the Scriptures will be fulfilled. Even if the legions of angels had to fight the disciples to fulfill the prophecy. "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.")
1 Samuel 17:48-50
As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground. So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.
(David used a sling, stone (weapon) and the power of the Lord to defend himself and Israel from Goliath the nine foot tall Philistine.)

We should in-force the murder laws, not banish a method of self-defense.
Making more laws is not the answer, in-force the ones we already have is.

(In Matthew 15 and Mark 7 ) Christ accused the religious leaders of the day of opposing the execution of deserving of death. They replaced Gods commandments with their own traditions. God never tried to control the method of violence just punished the one doing the violence.
God did not ban rocks or sticks.
He banished Cain for killing Able.
That is why there is no NRA in the Bible. (National Rock Association)
The anti-gun groups are so hung-up on guns they don�t see the big picture. I don't see why taking guns away from people that have them for self-defense, hunting, or collecting will lower crime. I see no reasoning behind that at all. They should try to keep the unsafe people out of society. Not a method of self-defense out of the hands of honest American citizens. There are a whole lot more accidental killing involving cars than guns, so lowering accidental deaths is not their goal.
The Second amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America basically said: All free men (persons) shall have the right to bear arms equal to the infantry (foot soldiers) of the army.
I would rather my wife to protect our family with a gun than other self-defense method. With a gun she can defend our family from 20 feet by displaying the gun in a safe direction or a discharge to stop the aggression. Any other method she may have to be within two feet to defend off an attacker.
I don�t believe the reason of not having a gun in the house, because an attacker could find it, or take it and use it on me. If that is true, I better remove everything in the house that could be used as a weapon. They could use most anything in the house, a kitchen knife, a chair, or a bed pillow to kill someone.
Guns are the equalizer of the weaker to defend off the stronger.
If guns are outlawed, gangs, rapist, and murderers will have full reign over the weaker and elderly. Even if all the guns are removed from our society(even the outlaws guns), what will be the equalizer for the weaker and elderly. To stop aggression a Grandmother with a .410 is as strong as a 21 year old outlaw.
You don�t take cars from everybody, because of a drunk using a car.
Why, take guns from everybody, because of a criminal using a gun?

If you want to save lives build production cars like a NASCAR.
The NASCAR drivers WALKS away from a 200 mile an hour crash more times then they don�t.
Or reduce the ability of cars to 5 miles per hour to save lives.

Support your local gun and ammo stores.
So they will be there in the future.
