Some public licenses are more public than others. Some copyleft schemes are more leftist than others. Sometimes "open systems" is used as a business buzzphrase. The PubWan movement is subject to a NeutralityPrinciple, so copyrightism is not disparaged by the pubwan movement. PubwanActivity, on the other hand, is strictly ex camerae, as other principles important in pubwan activities include inclusivity and freedom (in the fully anglophone (gratuit et libre) sense). The use of pubwan resources is absolutely unrestricted. We hope to keep it that way. Part of our strategy for doing that is an assertive refusal to use proprietary technology.
