Multi Objective Optimization

Multiple-objective optimisation (MOO) is the application of optimization theory to more than one goal at a time. Unfortunately, that's about all I know about it so far. Being a PubWan volunteer, I do have a keen interest in the subject, as I think the pubwan movement has much use for MOO. My preliminary survey of the MOO literature suggests that I should study (at least!) the following concepts:

  1. computational geometry
  2. efficient frontier analysis
  3. quantile kriging
It is hoped of course that there is a useful subset of the body of MOO knowledge that is either undiscovered or nonproprietary. Less ambitious and even smaller movements than pubwan have been squashed by the ubiquitous cease and desist order.
