So You Want To Join NAISU...
At the moment, there are no spots currently available, but teams
do drop out, and expansion in Season 6 is likely. If you are
interested in a place in NAISU's future, please read and follow these instructions carefully:
- Read the rules. It's important you know what you're
getting into! If you have questions, don't hesitate to
ask me for answers or clarification. The more
knowledgable you are going into the game, the happier and
more successful you'll be once you have a place.
- Make sure you have the time to participate properly.
Doing orders correctly will take 10-15 minutes a week and
that's the bare minimum of participation. As of Season 4,
attendance (and gate revenue) is partially tied in with
your club's media presence, which means you have to send
out press releases if you want to draw the big crowds!
It's always a hassle to have someone join up only to
disappear without a trace a week later because the game
was more involved than they thought it was. If you're
looking for a PBeM indoor soccer game that's a little
less time consuming, you might want to consider MIISL.
- Once you're ready to go, send me an e-mail with the
following information about your club:
- Club Name
- Home City
- Arena Name
- Club Colors
- In addition, any other information you can provide about
yourself, your previous PBeM experience, or your
obsession with soccer, can only help your cause.
- Once your application has been recieved, it will be sent
to the Board of Governors for preliminary approval. If
you are approved, you will be added to a waiting list and
considered for all future openings unless you ask to be
removed from the list.
- You can help your cause by participating in the league
prior to recieving a club. The message board and mailing
lists are open to everyone, and if you make yourself part
of the NAISU "family" by contributing to them,
you'll be highly regarded when openings come up.
