Note: Till further notice, I cannot accept any new trade offers.

Welcome to my tape trading page.  I've been trading off and on for about the last 5 years.  My interests mainly lie in the area of Classic Rock and Roll.  I'm always interested in shows by The Who and The Stones.  But I try to expand my interests every once in a while.  Basically, if you see something you want let me know what you have even if the artist is not on my list; if it has anything to do with Rock and Roll  I may be interested.  Even if I'm not interested in what you have, if I have the time and your still interested; I may offer to do a 2 for 1 trade for you.

I grade my shows in the simple school grade format of A to F, I just find it's the simplest system to use for easy understanding.  My grades, as with everybody else's are my own opinion, for better or worse you may or may not agree with them. I try to be consistent in grading all of my shows as best I can.  I will not list a grading scale because it's boring!  If anybody has a question or can't figure out why I graded a show the way I did, e-mail me at [email protected]. and I will attempt to answer your questions as best I can.

Now for a few simple rules I follow.

1. I  use Fuji Film "Made In Japan" 80 minute Cdr's, these are made by Taiyo Yuden. I've recently purchased a huge bulk supply of unbranded Taiyo Yuden 80 minute discs, these are the same as the Fuji's except they have a blank silver face. You can tell these are the same discs by looking at the undersides of them. I prefer receiving similar quality discs. Personally, I prefer discs that say "Made In Japan", over "Made In Taiwan". I do not like receiving Maxell's, Imations, or any off the wall cheapo store brands.   After beginning in this trading analog tapes, where Maxell XLII's were pretty commonplace as the standard of the hobby, it amazes me now that it's Cdr trading that the quality of the media people use has gone out of the window.

2. I use EAC to extract my audio, then I burn at 2X. It's not the fastest method in the world, but it works. If you have a computer-based burner, I consider EAC a necessity

3. Always use DAO! If  you have a show that I'm interested in and you know it's not DAO, but instead TAO; please let me know beforehand, so I can try any find another selection from your list.

4. I do not want anything with any ticks, clicks, pops, gaps, digi-noise, etc.,etc....

5. NO MP3 sourced shows!!!

6. If you find one of my discs has an error on it. Let me know, I'll check my copy. If my copy has a similar problem, I'll offer you a replacement. I expect the same in return.

7. I always use padded envelopes.  Please, never use regular envelopes. I send my Cdr's protected either in soft plastic Case Logic sleeves or paper sleeves.

8. Postage. Generally I use First-class US mail.  If you prefer Priority, let me know because that's fine with me. But if you want me to send priority and you end up sending to me regular mail, I'll be pissed!  USE COMMON COURTESY.

9. Artwork. I do not consider artwork to be a necessity. I do have some artwork for some of my Who shows, most of which I've downloaded from somewhere off the net. I do know of sites where I can point you towards some artwork.

10. Videos. I use Sony V- Premium Grade T-160's.  I always tape in SP mode! I'll consider trading videos for Cdr's. I don't really have time to sit and watch videos, so unless you have shows by The Who or maybe the Stones; I probably will opt for Cdr's instead.

11. Analog Tapes. Only unless you have the rarest, most off the wall show by The Who; and only The Who will I consider trading for a cassette. The world has changed!

12. Last, but not least.  None of my shows are for sale. Please don't bother asking me to sell you any shows.

If your still interested, go here for my Who shows or here for shows I have of other artists.
