My name is Najat Ali Al-Thaibani, and I�m from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). I was born in the city of Dubai. I live with my family. There are eight people: my mother, three brothers, and four sisters. I�m the second oldest between my brothers and sisters, so I have many responsibilities. My mother is a house wife. My brothers are Abdalrab, Mohammad, and Sultan. Abdalrab is younger than I am. He is studying in the U.K. ,and major is air engineering. Mohammad is 19 years old, he likes playing football, and he is studying mechanical engineering. Sultan is the youngest of my brothers,and he is 17 years old. He is studying in high school. My sisters are Najla, Nabeela, Nadia, and Nouf. Najla is older than I am, and she is Arabic teacher in primary school. Nabeela will be graduating in few months from the biology department. Nadia is a university student first-year .She wants to study geographic information system (GIS). Nouf is the youngest person in my family, and she is 14 years old. She likes to play music.

My Hobbies

My favorite hobbies are drawing, walking with my sisters (not hiking), acting, and cooking.

Education

I graduated from the United Arab Emirates University from the Department of Geography in 2002. By 2003, I had been working as a teaching assistant at my university, and I got a scholarship to get a Masters and Ph.D in urban planning in the United States (U.S). Now, I�m studying English at the University of Utah in the U.S, at the English Language Institute (ELI) to improve my language and to pass the TOEFL and GRE that will help me to start my study at any university in the U.S.

Future Goals

In the future, I want to return to my country with Ph.D in my major and work in the UAE University as a professor;therefore, I will attain my father dream.
