My thoughts will alwayz drift back to U.......
As darkness steals the warmth of day,
My world is embraced by the chill.
I find myself reaching within my heart
For memories that warm me still...
Thinking back on the past
And times that we've been through,
I can only regret that
I could not
Stop myself from loving you.
Lost in this endless night,
I pray for the light of day,
Or to capture the brightness of your eyes
To help me find my way.
For my eyesight falters,
I can no longer see
An end to this road I'm on.
Should I retreat timidly,
Or bravely journey on?
I'll walk blindly rather than lose you,
So although hope seems slight,
Let none dare say my choice is wrong
When it feels so right.
The few times that I've shared with you
Have meant everything to me.
I can recall every moment
And cherish each memory.
But you would not think them special
The same way that I do.
Nor will you ever see in me
The grace I see in you.
I've never known how to bring you joy
Nor found clever words for you to hear.

I get so confused

But I can't get near you anymore
And it really is a shame.

To let me suffer for so long?
I'm bound tightly in your spell,
