| In May of 2003, I had to chance to go with some of my fellow students at Freed-Hardeman to Belo Horizonte in Minas Gerais, Brazil to assist in a campaign for the Lord's Church in Eldorado. We joined a group from Harding University while we were there. We distributed 20,000 invitation flyers for a gospel meeting that the church was hosting. On the last night of the meeting we hade 278 present. We set up 162 Bible studies and have had 9 baptisms up until now.The campaign was very sucessful and I am eager to return in the summer of 2004 to help out more. I love the people there and it proved to be an awesome experience. |
