===============================
1対1(hand-to-hand with no weapons)
===============================
? 1a 作戦: 反撃
The # one priority in a 1-on-1 fight is to use the following strategy.
Wait for the opponent to charge in with a non-kick attack.  When the opponent is close enough, kick target in stomach with sidekick or front kick.  If the opponent continues to fall for this strategy, the target can become so sick to the stomach and not be able to continue fighting because of the urge to vomit.

This strategy will work on all belt levels (tested and confirmed in 2005).  This is the only strategy I know of and have been able to use successfully defeat an opponent with complete dominance.
In any 1-on-1 situation, this is the first strategy that I should think of using with no hesitation.  All other strategies are secondary to this strategy.

=================
? 1b: 前蹴り
=================
There are 3 types of 前蹴り:
--------------------------------
In-step:
--------------------------------
There is no point in using this kick for this counterattack strategy.

--------------------------------
Heel:
--------------------------------
this will work

--------------------------------
Ball-of-foot:
--------------------------------
This will work too, and it has a little better reach than the heel 前蹴り。But it’s not as powerful as the heel 前蹴り。

Conclusion: If I’m gonna use a 前蹴り、 use heel or ball-of-foot 前蹴り。

? 1c: 横蹴り
This has a better reach than 前蹴り, so this is a better choice over a 前蹴り。

? 2a: 作戦 : follow up 反撃
If my opponent is smart, the opponent will figure out that I’m using a counterattack strategy and not fall for my strategy more than once.  If that is the case, I may only be able to use the strategy once.  In order to capitalize on this opportunity, I should follow it up with a barrage of punches.  If the opponent falls backs, nail the target with a roundhouse and follow up with another barrage.  If the opponent covers up, I can grab the neck and start doing knees to the midsection or just forget about using strikes and go for a takedown.
Very important!  Don’t just throw punches as hard and/or fast as I can.  Aim for openings like Bob Sapp did VS Ernesto Hoost.  Don’t waste energy hitting an arm or a non-target!

--------------------------------
? 2b: パンチ
--------------------------------
Punch downward with my knuckles.  Plant my feet and throw all my weight behind the punches.  Recommended punches are straight, hook, and uppercut.  Shortened versions with no windup are good to increase the speed, although they will reduce the impact.  But hey, it’s better to get an attack in than not.
If I use a palm heel, if the opponent grabs my fingers, they can be easily broken.  Keep in mind another warning.

? 2c: takedown
I’ve been taught a single leg takedown, but just how to counter it ? not how to use it.  Forget about trying to use it without some more training.
Double leg takedown is very easy to do, so this is the one I should aim for first.

? 2d: sweep
Brace myself with my arm against opponent and then sweep.  If the opponent tries to sweep me, don’t fight it and lift my leg up.  Be careful of opposite sweeps on the same leg trick.  If I’m trouble, I can do a koala bear hug.  But beware that I could easily be slammed, so it is probably only best to use temporarily (i.e. to avoid a sweep).  Head-butt is also an option.  But watch out for it too by putting my body as close to opponent as possible (密着状態).

===============================
? 3: 作戦: offense
===============================
If the opponent never charges in, then I’ll never have a chance to execute the above strategies.  If I’m looking for a stalemate or stalling for time, fine.  But if I need to defeat my opponent, I need to go on the offensive.  In this case, I’d recommend the strategy Ernesto Hoost used Bob Sapp in the 2002 GP top 16.  I would also throw in my running 回し蹴り to close the gap.
If I want to be more offensive, I can use Mirko’s strategy by using lows to draw the opponents attention low, then nail them with a high kick and punch them out on the ground like Mirko did to Vovchanchyn.

===============================
? 4a: Defense VS punches: straights
===============================
If the opponent doesn’t charge in with a punch, I’ll need to be ready to counter everything else.  First of all, punches ? as soon as I see the punch coming, use my arm to deflect it from the side.  Note ? DON’T wait for the punch to come to me!  Use my hand/arm to block the punch before it even has a chance to reach me.  As soon as I block, I can counter with an opposite hand punch or counter with a 前蹴り。

? 4b: Defense VS uppercuts
Do what Jose taught me.

? 4c: Defense VS hooks
Do a high guard block.

? 5a: Defense VS kicks: 回し蹴り
High: high guard
Mid: lift knee up, use hand/arms to block, or grab the leg then charge in with a punch or go for takedown
Low: lift leg off the ground away from attack

? 5b: Defense VS 横蹴りと前蹴り
Deflect it to the side using my hand/arm.

? 6: Vs a punch barrage
Cover up, and go for a takedown.
Or, do a spinning attack, such as 裏拳 or jumping sidekick.  One of my spinning jump sidekicks temporarily stunned my opponent ? this is a very powerful move.

? 7: Vs a better striker
If the opponent is better at me than the offensive strikes described above, go for a takedown or just run.

===============================
1対1(武器あり)
===============================
? 8a: throw objects
Use any object that can be picked up and thrown to hit opponent in most vulnerable area of the human body.  If this works, the fight is over and I can run.

? 8b: disable
If 1a doesn’t work, then disable the opponent, and then flee.

===============================
9a: 2 opponents
===============================
Keep opponents in front of me.  If there are too many, use strategy 8a and disable multiple opponents in an instant, then flee.

? 10a: 180 degrees 包囲
Use a weapon that attacks in a circular motion.  If possible, use weapons that can attack 360 degrees.

? 10b: punch through extreme left or right
That way you minimize the amount of exposure you have to all opponents.

===============================
? 11: VS 完全包囲
===============================
Use strategy 8a & 10a.  Just like with 兵法, punch through a specific point and flee.  Don’t hang around and try to win ? fleeing is the highest priority when there are multiple opponents.
