The meeting will take place in the ancient
monastery of San Francisco de Asis. This is just in the
heart of Old Havana (download Old
Havana map), the most important cultural and historic
center of Havana city. Old Havana was considered in 1982 World
Heritage by UNESCO.
The Workshop will be just the week after the 49th Conference
on Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, November 7-11, 2004,
Jacksonville, Florida, USA, in order to favor the attendance
of participants interested in both meetings. From several
cities of the United States (Miami, Los Angeles and New York),
Cancun, Mexico city, Tijuana, Nassau, Kingston and Montego
Bay, you can find regular
or charter flights to Havana every day.
