Prepare cold water bath (container with ice and water. It should be large enough to hold container with mixture).
Mix in glass measuring cup:
.5 cp.l shea butter
.25 cp mango or cocoa butter
4 tbspn stearic acid
3 tbspn emulsyfing wax
2 tbspn avocado oil
3 tspn glycerin
1 tbspn wax (jasmine or jojoba)
Microwave for 2 minutes (make sure it doesn't boil) or until melted. Take it out and place container with contents in CW bath. Allow to cool and then add 3 tbspn distilled or infused water, 1 tspn Vitamin E oil (not in a base oil), 1 tspn of your favorite E.O. or F.O. (some fragrance oils will not mix so test carefully).
Take a handmixer and blend until mixture is creamy and smooth. For a creamier version add more oil and glycerin.
