Astle rated fourth best

New Zealand's Nathan Astle is the world's fourth best one-day batsman, according to the latest PwC ratings. Astle has moved to his all-time highest one-day international rating and only Sourav Ganguly, Michael Bevan, and Lance Klusener, rate as better one-day players on the Pricewaterhouse Coopers chart. Roger Twose is 13th, Stephen Fleming is 26th, Chris Cairns 31st, and Chris Harris 34th. Shaun Pollock remains top of the bowling ratings, while Cairns, Daniel Vettori, and Harris are 19th, 20th, and 21st. Vettori joins the top 20 one-day bowlers for the first time.
