"Do I dream" - Maxi
The Irish Final was held on February 25th at the RTE TV Studios in Dublin, hosted by Bernadette Ní Ghallchóir. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 10 regional juries.

Maxi previously came 2nd in the 1970 Irish Final as part of the trio 'Maxi, Dick & Twink'. At the Eurovision she was 10th equal. One of 'The Branagans' was Geraldine Branagan who would go on to represent Luxembourg in 1975.
