Pittsburgh end playoff streak at 6 straight (12-22-08) For six straight seasons, Howard M managmement has been able to bring the Pittsburgh Stealth to the playoffs, and last season went all the way to the Kings Cup, and fell short. Today Pittsburgh ended their playoff streak missing the playoffs as the Central was jammed packed this season. Many also saw a lack of management in Pittsburgh this season which was also reason for the losing season.
Pittsburgh is hot, as they move into third (12-8-08) Pittsburgh started 1-5, and now stand at 6-5. Talk about a turn-a-round. Pittsburgh finally moved up, into third in the extremely hard Central. With a big win over Columbus this week, they could move into 2nd or even 1st in the Central Division with matchups, against Washington and Atlanta, and Seattle in the middle. All of a sudden, Pittsburgh winning their fifth straight Central Division title doesn't seem to far fetched after all.
At 1-5, What is wrong with Pittsburgh? (10-27-08) At 1-5, what exactly is wrong with Pittsburgh? They did have early season cap problems, as well as losing a few young players in expense to that, but Pittsburgh is still a god team. Since becoming the manager in 6.0, Howard has only missed the playoffs that first season. For Pittsburgh to salvage this ugly season, they need to focus, as clearly they haven't due to late lineup entries. While many have hated Pittsburgh on the court, many are cheering for their return to greatness. |
