Seattle trades Giles to Hou for 2-Rd Pick
(7-2-09) Seattle and Houston made a minor trade this past Wednesday. Seattle acquired a 15.0 2nd Round Pick and Houston acquired the rights to Tanyon Giles who is in a one season deal worth the league low 250 thousand. Giles was an quick fill for Paul Blanco.

Villa signs new extension worth 25 million

Seattle finally expressed their longterm plan to include Jared Villa. Jared Villa is only starting his second season of his three season career after playing his first season behind Angelo Totti in New Orleans.
