Alright... no laughing here, but I did go through a point in my life where I was writing some poems. I don't conisder myself any good, so don't try and convince me otherwise. As well... take a look to the left and see some of my favorite poems of all time from the famous people that are really good. Ready for it? Here goes... "Missing Lines" by The Nice Guy Our love can cross a million miles No distance can keep us apart We will be together I want no other I love you Always "Untitled" Arm in arm Walking next to you, we kiss I am overjoyed "Us, Together" My face lights up when you are near me Brighter than the sun, a million miles away My heart skips through the waters of love When you give that wonderful gift of a smile When I catch a glimpse, I begin to see The eruption of emotion you feel for me We sit in the tranquil fields, just you and I Enjoying the company of each other "The Chance Never Taken" Across the room She is standing Long, dark hair Big bright eyes She looks unsuspecting at who's watching having no idea what I'm thinking I won't act upon these dreams but just admire from far across the room and leave it as a Chance Never Taken "How I Love You" The words I want to say Cannot be created by my pen for this is how I love you. As the ocean thunders on the beach Mixing with the tearful rain from the sky this is how I miss you as the days go by. My darling so fair and sweet How I long for you tender embrace And your lips from which I taste the most addicting passionate heat. A mere few days more I will stay Then our bodies will together lay and our fears will be kept at bay for this is how I love you. |
