4. The patient is tearful and crying constantly. She also appears to be depressed.
5. Discharge status: Alive but without permission.

7. The patient refused an autopsy.
8. The patient has no past history of suicides.

If wisdom's ways you wisely seek.
Five things observe with care.
To whom you speak, of whom you speak, and how, and when and where.

My but what a busy month August turned out to be. Jonathon Dalton graduated from boot camp on July 31 and is now stationed in Ft. Bliss, Texas. It seems he will be there for at least the next three months training on the Patriot Missle program. Bro. Dalton and Chessa will be leaving Aug. 28 to visit him and stay till after the 2nd of Sept. Congratulations to the Dalton family on the birth of their great granddaughter! Ivy Grace was born on Saturday, Aug. 15, she weighed 6 lbs, and was 19 3/4" long. Mother Adrian and baby are doing just fine.
Another traveling will be Bro. Mark; he will be traveling to Iliamna, Alaska on Sept. 6 for business. Keep them in your prayers for traveling mercies.
It appears we have a celebrity in our mists. On Sunday the 17th; Bro. Stephen Blair saved a lady's life. Apparently there was a horrible accident on I-35 involving a tanker truck and an automobile. Bro. Stephen pulled a lady out of the car moments before it burst into flames, and saved her life. Give this guy a pat on the back when you see him, it was a very brave thing to do!
Labor Day is Sept. 2, so take it easy (if your one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to work). But, make sure your weekend plans include church! Bonnet Sunday will be on the 14th, looks like we are increasing in our number of hat wearers. Good job Judy on getting the ladies together on this venture. A special thank you goes out to Sister Imogene for the work she is doing with the very young people in the church. Our Children's Choir is getting better and better all the time. It's such a blessing to hear them sing every Sunday evening.

Make a Way
by Mrs. Charles E. Cowman

"I will make all my mountains a way" (Isa.49:11).

God will make obstacles serve His purpose. We all have mountains in our lives. There are people and things that threaten to bar our progress in the Divine life. Those heavy claims, that uncongenial occupation, that thorn in the flesh, that daily cross--we think that if only these were removed we might live purer, tenderer, holier lives; and often we pray for their removal.

"Oh, fools, and slow of heart!" These are the very conditions of achievement; they have been put into our lives as the means to the very graces and virtues for which we have been praying so long. Thou hast prayed for patience through long years, but there is something that tries thee beyond endurance; thou hast fled from it, evaded it, accounted it an unsurmountable obstacle to the desired attainment, and supposed that its removal would secure thy immediate deliverance and victory.

Not so! Thou wouldest gain only the cessation of temptations to impatience. But this would not be patience. Patience can be acquired only through just such trials as now seem unbearable.
Go back; submit thyself. Claim to be a partaker in the patience of Jesus. Meet thy trials in Him. There is nothing in life which harasses and annoys that may not become subservient to the highest ends. They are His mountains. He puts them there. We know that God will not fail to keep His promise. "God understandeth the way thereof and knoweth the place thereof. For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven"; and when we come to the foot of the mountains, we shall find the way.
