The Evil Dead

Mistakes

When Cheryl first turns into a Candarian demon, (after she guesses the playing cards) she stabs Linda in the ankle with a pencil. The pencil is sharpened and in perfect condition when she is secretly gripping it. When she takes it out of Linda's leg, its covered in blood, but you can see that the pencil was broken deliberately beforehand to give the effect of it going into the flesh.

When Ash is in front of the movie projector, the blood starts dripping down, it flashes back and forth between the projector and Ash. When viewing the lens, blood drips on it in droplets, but when viewing the projection over Ashs face, it dribbles from the top of the lens down in tiny streams of blood.

As with the rest of the films in the trilogy, the blood changes colour, red, very dark red to black and the white (the white being evil goo). However, this isnt so much a mistake as blood changes colour with the varying types of wound whether it be a scratch or a full of flesh tear or ultimate limb severing.

When the pipe bursts over Ash and spills out the equivalent of the Hoover Dams worth of blood over him, it covers Ash, completely soaking him from head to toe. But then when you look at him after the geyser of blood, he's seems to be cleaner than before he entered the cellar, maybe its vanishing blood!

When the group cross the bridge in the first film, you can easily see it is just above a river. But then in the second film, when Ash discovers the bridge has collapsed, it is plain to see that the bridge is actually now over a huge gap between to great big bloody mountains! This is because of the fact that the original set burnt down and the film was more an initial remake, then a new film, but that doesnt explain why the cabin is exactly the same as the first one. Two identical cabins in the middle of nowhere with the ability to raise evil? AHHHH! The attack of the evil cabins is upon us!

When Ash drags evil Linda outside, it is clear to see that she has suddenly grown a really bad wig of grey hair in a new style and that the mud on her night gown is really black spray paint!

When Cheryl is running into the woods, the time of night seems to change and the light either gets more or less. Also, there seems to be spotlights of illumination throughout the woods. The trees have eyes, and flashlights! Run away!
